Schoeps – ST 20-3/8, Cylinder for Table mounting

This cylindrical mounting adapter is inserted into the TEF elastic suspension. Its 3/8" tap screw can hold a support rod or gooseneck.The adapter exists in a long and a short version.

There are two notches in the sides of the adapter, through which the cable or cables can be passed. Alternatively, the cable can be passed through the centre of the adapter. For this purpose, the adapter has a hole drilled in the center of its top which can be used to pass a miniature cable through. However, the connector has to be dismantled to do this.

Practice:

A typical set with built-in tripod looks like this:

·         TEF-S - table flange

·         ST 20-3/8 - mounting cylinder

·         S 250 L5U - gooseneck

·         CCM 4 – microphone

For longer tubes / goosenecks the following setup is possible:

·         TEF-H - table flange

·         ST 20-3/8 - mounting cylinder

·         RS 420 L5U  - gooseneck

·         CCM 4 – microphone

A solution with RL is realized as follows:

·         TEF-H - table flange

·         ST 20-3/8 - mounting cylinder

·         STR 250 - support rod

·         RL 350 - stand tube

·         RG 8 - stand swivel

·         CCM 4 - microphone

Variants & Options:

There is a short version and a long version.

This short version is suitable for mounting in a table flange TEF

#165009: ST 20-3 / 8 ext:

This long version is suitable, if two table flanges AF 1 are used.
