Vitus SIA-030 Signature Series Integrated Amplifier

Creating a component improving upon the much admired SIA-025 was never going to be an easy task. The goal was to design an integrated amplifier that offered that more power and more options, an amp that remained modular, that offered the same elegant looks and the compact chassis of its siblings in the Signature Series.

What has been achieved by our engineers is nothing short of astonishing. Every element of this amplifier has been obsessed over and refined to the point of perfection creating the component we present here. A powerhouse of an amplifier in a neat, handsome chassis with optional DAC and phono stage. A truly integrated amplifier for the discerning audiophile looking to preserve space in their listening environment.

While this amplifier sits midway in our range, it’s no lightweight when it comes to performance offering 200 W per channel in Class AB mode into 8Ω and double that at 4Ω. And with a frequency response up to 800kHz the amp showcases incredible bandwidth.

Mode selection – Classic & Rock mode

The SIA-030 integrated amplifier features “Classic” and “Rock” modes, which subtly modify the amplifier’s sound output. The “Classic” mode is designed to enrich the listening experience, offering a richer, more relaxed, and detailed sound. In contrast, the “Rock” mode amplifies the robustness and dynamics of the music, appealing to those who prefer a more forceful and impactful sound. These adjustments are achieved through a complete reconfiguration of the output stage, without the use of any filtering or alterations to the signal path, thereby preserving the purity and integrity of the audio signal. Choosing between these modes depends solely on personal preference, as there is no objectively right or wrong setting; it entirely depends on what suits your listening tastes and/or mood.

Class selection – Class A and Class AB

The SIA-030 integrated amplifier offers enhanced personalization through selectable Class A and Class AB operation modes. Class A mode is well known for its rich sound quality, providing greater clarity and detail, perfect for nuanced audio experiences. Conversely, Class AB mode maintains quality sound while offering greater power efficiency and sometimes a more dynamic performance. These operational classes can be used in combination with the the “Classic” and “Rock” mode settings, allowing further customization of the audio output based on individual preferences, ensuring a tailored listening experience.
